Grand Valley Power employees harnessed the ?? power of teamwork! Earlier this week, we held an employee development day filled with experiences designed to learn about each other, build our team, and energize our services to members. Employees could participate in: ? a teambuilding session, ? operate the hydraulic boom of a digger derrick truck in an obstacle course, ? take a ride in a bucket truck, ? operate an “extendo” telescopic stick to replace a fuse, ? dig a trench with a mini excavator, and ? climb six feet up a pole (with guidance and supervision, of course!). These cross-training activities provided employees with depth, learning, and insight into areas across the cooperative that will serve to strengthen our knowledge and understanding of our industry.
