Exciting Changes Coming to GTI’s Employment Services! GTI has always been committed to providing meaningful opportunities for individuals to grow, work, and thrive. As part of our ongoing efforts to align with best practices in disability employment, we have made the decision to discontinue the use of 14c piece-rate pay. Moving forward, all team members will transition to an hourly wage. While this transition will bring some changes, our commitment remains the same: Everyone who wants to earn a paycheck will still have the opportunity to do so. We know that change can bring uncertainty, but please know that our mission remains the same—to provide quality services that support personal success and independence. Services may look a little different, but the heart of our programs will continue to focus on meaningful engagement, inclusion, and opportunities for everyone. For families who would like additional information, we will be hosting a meeting on Feb. 21st at 3:00 pm with a in person/virtual option. Please contact Micah Haven to RSVP and make arrangements for the link. 231-922-4886 Ext 1128

People with disabilities experience the full range of emotions and need a space to grieve like everyone else. When one of our team members pass away, we hold a memorial service to give peers and family the opportunity to mourn and support each other. This spring we will add Sarah's name to a brick in our memorial garden at Friendship Park, an ever-present reminder of her life and legacy. #gonebutnotforgotten #thatsmile #shemadetheworldabetterplace
