This innovative project is rebuilding the Union Street dam and aims to allow desirable fish species to pass through on the Boardman River while simultaneously blocking invasive species such as the sea lamprey. This month, we successfully set the beams for the M-43 bridge in Barry County—a major accomplishment! A big thanks to everyone involved in this successful project. A total of six beams, each measuring an impressive 165 feet in length, were placed using three cranes, making this a highly precise and delicate operation. These beams are among the longest in Michigan.
