There are few things I enjoy more than bringing good people into Grand Prairie Foods. One thing that tops it is PROMOTING good people in Grand Prairie Foods. Darius (Dee) has been with us for two years - every day he shows up and he WORKS. When we had a supervisor position become available and he expressed interest, he had dozens of cheerleaders encouraging and supporting him. Getting to hand him his offer letter and officially promote him to 2nd Shift Supervisor from Team Lead is one of my top memories at GPF so far. Congratulations Dee!! I first sat down with Rob regarding a maintenance position and he came more prepared than I've seen in awhile. It was fascinating learning about his experience in the Marine Corp and his incredible knowledge in Aviation Technician school. It was a joint effort between Grand Prairie Foods & the South Dakota Department of Labor Veteran Services. GPF is honored to employ a number of veterans who have served at home and abroad.

I was able to experience a Grand Prairie Foods town hall! Below is GPF’s founder, President & CEO, Kurt Loudenback, emphasizing what is most important - our company values and culture. He also shared the current status of the company and the excitement for the future ahead. The coolest thing about this video? Notice how Kurt pauses between what he says; he’s allowing time for what he’s saying to be translated. In this video, the languages such as: Swahili, French, Spanish, Amaharric, Dinka, Arabic, Kunama, and Nepali are being translated so everyone can know where we are. At GPF, we have just shy of 20 languages spoken within the company and it’s my favorite part of who we are. #companyculture #foodmanufacturing #diversity #languages

May - HR chose May baskets; in June, Finance celebrated National Pudding Day; July, Supply Chain celebrated the Fourth of July with a "Pop!" Popsicles and soda pop; August, Operations is celebrating with "Chip Chip Hooray!"
