I first sat down with Rob regarding a maintenance position and he came more prepared than I've seen in awhile. It was fascinating learning about his experience in the Marine Corp and his incredible knowledge in Aviation Technician school. It was a joint effort between Grand Prairie Foods & the South Dakota Department of Labor Veteran Services. GPF is honored to employ a number of veterans who have served at home and abroad.

Travis is the VP of Getting It Done ?? ??
One of the most determined guys I've met: Travis Akin - Vice President of Operations He's been in Food Manufacturing Leadership roles for over 28 years, 3 of those being here at Grand Prairie Foods. Travis has a go, go, go mentality and always strives for 100%. I asked him, "Why GPF?" He shared, "Because we're committed to the growth and evolution of the company." Travis is looking to add a new position here at GPF - Plant Manager of our Egg plant (1509). 1509 only operates at a 100 miles a minute, creating 5,000lbs of scrambled eggs an hour!!! I was able to experience a Grand Prairie Foods town hall! Below is GPF’s founder, President & CEO, Kurt Loudenback, emphasizing what is most important - our company values and culture. He also shared the current status of the company and the excitement for the future ahead. The coolest thing about this video? Notice how Kurt pauses between what he says; he’s allowing time for what he’s saying to be translated. In this video, the languages such as: Swahili, French, Spanish, Amaharric, Dinka, Arabic, Kunama, and Nepali are being translated so everyone can know where we are. May - HR chose May baskets; in June, Finance celebrated National Pudding Day; July, Supply Chain celebrated the Fourth of July with a "Pop!"
