Thank you to everyone who made Full STEAM Ahead a success! We are grateful to have so much support from the community!

We are blessed to have such wonderful volunteers, who support the mission and vision of the Grand Forks Children's Museum and are the reason this community is such an amazing place to live! We are building a brighter future together! Countless hours were spent, from setting up the exhibits to facilitating school groups and the public, to tear-down and clean-up... we all had a memorable Full STEAM Ahead! Thank you to ALL of our volunteers!

Sunday Spotlight: Re-cap of Full STEAM Ahead 2024 Our 3rd annual pop-up museum, Full STEAM Ahead, has come and gone; and we are so overwhelmed by the excitement and support for this event! We had so much fun at this year's FSA! From science, technology, engineering, art and math-based activities, the enthusiasm for learning and creating was in full bloom. We loved seeing our community explore, learn and play together! Thank you to the over 6,000 people who came out and made this event a smashing success!!

Full STEAM Ahead 2024 Thank you to the thousands and thousands of people who came out to our 3rd annual pop-up museum! The energy, creativity, and enthusiasm for hands-on learning and open-ended play has us all excited for the future of the Grand Forks Children's Museum!

??Sunday Spotlight?? The Grand Forks Children's Museum is 62% of the way to our goal of raising $45M for our building, exhibits and operations. We are moving onward and upward because of our generous donors! The Daniel and Marilyn Kuhlman Family Fund made their $500,000 donation to the museum early in the fundraising process. Daniel Kuhlman was owner and president of Grand Forks-based Acme Tools for nearly 60 years, and he recently passed away on September 9. The Kuhlmans jointly issued a statement about the donation, saying that family is the core of the Daniel and Marilyn Kuhlman Family Fund. The Kuhlmans also said "every child deserves a place to dream, discover, create and celebrate childhood wonder. It is our hope that this donation will make a difference for the museum and for the community.” The Kuhlmans' donation was among the first to the museum, which was very impactful to the project, and a driving force for the momentum the project has gotten. We are forever grateful to the Daniel and Marilyn Kuhlman Family Fund for their support and shared vision. Daniel was very passionate about this project, and it is our goal to bring the Grand Forks Children's Museum to fruition, so it can leave an indelible mark on the hearts of children and families just as the Kuhlman's have done to us! ???Sunday Spotlight ??? Congratulations to our very own Dean Opp! Dean, a retired teacher, the visionary co-founder of the Summer Performing Arts (SPA) group and an integral leader for the project to build the Grand Forks Children's Museum, is being inducted into the Grand Forks Public Schools and Grand Forks Foundation for Education’s Teachers Hall of Fame. This recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication to education and his profound impact on the community. Dean has been one of the ‘founding father’ of the Grand Forks Children’s Museum project. He continues to work tirelessly to support the capital campaign and lends his genius to the Full STEAM Ahead, the museum’s annual community outreach project. TAG - The Art of Giving - has committed over $200,000 to the Grand Forks Children's Museum for the sole purpose of displaying fine art in the museum to encourage art appreciation in our region. The Grand Forks Children's Museum has been chosen to be the recipient of this year's TAG proceeds! Thank you, TAG, once again for your generosity!
