The GRAMMY Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating a greater understanding of the history and significance of music through exhibits, education, grants, preservation initiatives, and public programming. Paying tribute to our collective musical heritage, the Museum explores and celebrates all aspects of the art form - from the technology of the recording process to the legends who've made lasting marks on our cultural identity. Located on the L.A. LIVE Campus in downtown Los Angeles, the GRAMMY Museum has welcomed more than 1,000,000 visitors; hosted over 820 public programs featuring artist interviews and live performances; curated more than 80 exhibits, and served over 300,000 students through our music education programs since opening our doors in 2008.

Congratulations to our 2025?#MusicEducatorAward?winner Adrian L. Maclin! ?? Presented by?The Recording Academy?and?#GRAMMYMuseum, our annual Music Educator Award recognizes teachers who have made significant strides in music education, and Adrian L. Maclin has gone above and beyond with his stellar career. From his 19 years of teaching to serving on the board of local music associations, Adrian's work has made a great impact on many aspiring music professionals. As the winner, he will be recognized during the Recording Academy’s Special Merit Awards Ceremony on Sat, Feb. 1 and will receive a $10,000 honorarium and matching grant for his school’s music program. In partnership with The Norris Foundation, the event featured high school students from Los Angeles and Southern California who took the #GRAMMYMuseum stage to showcase their musical talents. Music industry professionals also stopped by to share valuable career tips and industry knowledge with the students prior to their performances.

In the ongoing effort to remain as a resource for anyone impacted by the L.A. fires, the #GRAMMYMuseum will be providing FREE ADMISSION and hosting a DONATION DRIVE this holiday weekend (Jan. 18-20) along with the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA. We encourage visitors to bring the items listed in the second slide to the Museum, which will then be donated to the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA. The Ketchum-Downtown YMCA is also actively accepting walk-in volunteers for the following dates and hours: ? Jan. 15-17: 9am - 5pm ? Jan. 18: 9am - 12pm ? Jan. 20-24: 9am - 5pm ? Jan. 25: 9am - 12pm We will continue to monitor conditions, and as long as we can operate safely for our staff and guests, we intend to remain open and accessible to everyone as a resource during these unprecedented times. Our Mike Curb Café on our terrace will be open this weekend during our regular hours.

We will continue to monitor conditions, and as long as we can operate safely for our staff and guests, we intend to remain open and accessible to everyone as a resource during these unprecedented times. Our Mike Curb Café on our terrace will also be closed due to adverse air conditions. In lieu of admission, we ask visitors to bring the following items to the Museum from Jan. 11-12, which will then be donated to the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA: ? Water ? Non perishables ? Gently used shoes or clothes ? Flashlights and batteries ? Toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and feminine products) ? Blankets and towels ? Baby formula and baby food
