??? Project BEST Contractor Spotlight ?? Grae-Con Construction, Inc. is a construction services company headquartered in Steubenville, OH with offices in Marietta, OH and Portsmouth, OH as well. Grae-Con was started in 1987 but its’ initial roots date back to 1957 when Robert Gribben Sr founded ‘Robert A. Gribben Construction’. 1986, Robert Sr moved all operations of his company to Florida and a year later, Robert Jr established Grae-Con here in the Ohio Valley. Grae-Con is a self-performing contractor that holds their tradesmen to the utmost standards of safety, quality, and service. Grae-Con specializes in General Contracting, Construction Management, Design-Build Construction, Industrial Process Piping, Electrical Construction, Industrial Maintenance, and Pre-Engineered Construction. Some of the main industries Grae-Con specializes in are Midstream Oil & Gas, Polymer & Petrochemical, Industrial, Power Generation, Medical Facilities, Commercial Buildings and Places of Worship, and Educational Institutions. Grae-Con’s portfolio of projects includes Steubenville Schools STEM Academy, Newbridge Church Academy & Cafe in Wheeling, Highlands Town Center, Marietta Memorial Hospital Expansion, Marietta College Library & Center for Teaching Excellence, and both the ETC Rover Pipeline Compressor Stations and the ETC Freedom Compressor and Gas Conditioning. Some projects that are currently ongoing or that will be starting in the near future are the Marshall County WV Health Department, WVU Reynolds Hospital, Niterra North America Warehouse, Ritchie County Judicial Complex, Parkersburg Recreation Center, and WVU Medicine Rapid Care & PT Clinic. Exciting discovery at the Ritchie County Judicial Complex Project! This photo captures a stone uncovered at the connector bridge opening during demolition. It was concealed beneath the courthouse masonry, unknown until now.
