We are very pleased to announce the promotion of Danielle Legault one of our Senior Interior Designers, to her new role as Interior Design Director! For over a decade Danielle has represented and consistently guided our Interiors team with grace and expertise on the development and delivery of exceptional work. In this new role, Danielle will formally lead and mentor the Interiors team, acting as primary point of contact with clients and vendors, and will continue guiding the firm toward the seamless alignment of its objectives.? ? Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, where she earned her BA in Art History from University of Toronto, Danielle made her way to New York to pursue an AAS in Interior Design from Parsons The New School before joining GRADE as an intern. Specializing in high end residential projects, she worked her way from intern to Junior Designer to Senior Designer. She has contributed to some of our most notable projects including the Broome Street Residence, Tribeca Family Residence, West Village Penthouse, and the Palm Beach House—demonstrating her skills in designing and sourcing unique elements that make each project uniquely special. ? ? Danielle's dedication to our projects—and to the studio as a whole—have made her an invaluable part of our team. We are undoubtedly better with her and are grateful for all she has and will continue to contribute to the future of GRADE. 2024 is a milestone year for GRADE. Over the last 20 years, we've designed and built projects totaling over 1 MM SF, among residential, commercial, hospitality, multi-family building projects, and even designed interiors for private travel. We've weathered numerous phases of growth as well as some setbacks, a recession or two and a pandemic, moved offices, renovated our current one, published a book, and had the pleasure of spending much of our waking hours with a handful of tremendously talented team members, artisans, artists, a select few contractors who are the best at what they do, and then there are our clients who make this all possible. ? ? It begins and ends with people. It's a dream to be able to do what we do for a living, and we wanted to extend our thanks and gratitude to all those mentioned (there are so many) and for all the experiences and opportunities we've seen in 20 years. ? ? As we continue growing our team to align with the scope and reach of our projects, the time has come to expand our leadership structure. This new development will shape the direction of the firm’s continued growth in the coming years, and, thus, we are excited to announce the promotion of Erik Malavé and Adam Amelchenko in their new roles as Principals!? ? Over the past decade, Erik and Adam have pioneered the growth and advancement of the firm, not only as designers, but also as mentors to our staff and steady leaders alongside the Partners.
