Exec board Highlights?: Hari Priya Rajagopalan | President GradSWE: 2022-2024 "I am a fourth year PhD student in the department of Aerospace Engineering. Beginning with my involvement in 2021, collaborating with fellow graduate students in SWE, to being elected as the President of the Graduate Section in 2022, each step has been a testament to the transformative power of leadership and community. Through SWE, I've cultivated lasting friendships, honed invaluable leadership skills, and championed diversity and inclusion in STEM fields. It's within the vibrant spectrum of SWE's initiatives, events, and collaborations that I've found some of my most cherished memories and profound professional development opportunities. As I prepare to step down from my role as President of the Graduate Section, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey I've had with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Serving in this leadership capacity has been an immense privilege, filled with unforgettable experiences and invaluable lessons. To anyone considering applying for the position, I wholeheartedly encourage you to seize this opportunity. Leading our section offers a chance to make a tangible impact, not only within our immediate community but also in advancing the broader mission of promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM. As I pass the torch, I do so with a sense of gratitude for the support and camaraderie of our SWE community.
