In just two hours, our Graceworks team served a steady line of people, each with their own unique story and need for this vital resource. The holiday season is shining brightly at Redeemer Community, part of Graceworks Housing Services ?? Recently, residents gathered with their friends for a festive craft day, creating beautiful table centerpieces and sharing moments of laughter and joy. Each participant took home their handmade decor and a bag of supplies to keep crafting the holiday cheer at home! Together, we CAN make a difference ???? Recently, 10 Graceworks employees helped deconstruct several large-scale displays of canned goods during #CANstruction - a #volunteer event that not only raises awareness of The Foodbank, Inc.’s mission to fight hunger, but provides real, tangible resources for local families struggling to put food on the table. Our team moved and sorted more than 10,000 cans on display at the Dayton Mall last month, which are now being distributed to people and families facing food insecurity in our area! #GraceworksGivesBack #FightingHungerTogether

When it comes to finding creative ways to connect with people living with dementia, our #BethanyLutheranVillage Memory Support teams now have innovative technology on their side! The Tovertafel is an interactive gaming console that fosters social interactions through activities specially tailored to improve cognitive challenges: https://lnkd.in/eHxuxR2B ? It was amazing to see so many of our Direct Support Professionals celebrating DSP Recognition Week together! Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a vital role in our residential homes & day programs, providing unconditional love, security and community to adults with intellectual and developmental challenges. Staff shared stories of recent trips taken and ways their teams have demonstrated Faithful Caring before TJ blessed our meal! In appreciation of the dedication and positivity our DSPs bring to support the people we serve every single day across Dayton & Cincinnati, we announced Thank You payments based on employee tenure.
