New for ADWEEK: Today, Gracenote, the content data business unit of Nielsen, released new research that shows global subscription video-on-demand services (SVODs), including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix, and Paramount+, have significantly grown their sports programming over the last quarter. According to the Gracenote Data Hub, which provides a snapshot of global SVOD programming to show content trends and changes over time, the five platforms collectively increased their sports programs by more than 72% in the recent quarter, showcasing the demand for sports and live content.
