As one of the city's top independent schools, GSL has built a strong reputation in the larger community for producing intelligent, well-rounded students of good character who are successful in whichever high school they choose to attend after graduating from GSL. Pretty excited for Carter Strickland, #GSLClassof2018! What a huge honor!
Hello, everyone! I would like to take a brief moment to share that I have been elected to be the next Student Body President at the University of Oklahoma! Similarly to when I arrived at OU just a few years ago, I am immensely grateful and appreciative for the community that continues to support me every day. This opportunity to serve such a fine institution and its students would have never been possible without the family, teachers, and friends that have stood by my side throughout my life. Alongside my friend Avery Dunlap, we are ready to work tirelessly to better the student experience in Norman. We vow to listen, support, and advocate for the overall development of students. I’d also like to thank our campaign team, my close friends and outgoing leaders Caden Glasscock and Seyed Cyrus Mortazavi, and most importantly the students that have placed such a large trust and responsibility in our hands. The rain held off just long enough for us to enjoy a fantastic Preschool Halloween Costume Parade this morning! This week we've also had class parties, El Dia de Los Muertos activities, Halloween art and displays in the hallways, and today, we had a whole bunch of Middle School mad scientists on the loose.??Lots of fun at GSL - wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween! ??????

Our annual Faculty Costume Contest gets more and more entertaining every year! Many thanks to our Celebration hosts, Kimberley Morrison and Carmen Navarro. Contestants included Beetlejuice, Count Dracula, Sally from Halloweentown, Biker Barbie, Shrek & friends, the Inside Out emotions, and our event winners - 'NSync and the Backstreet Boys, who put on the most epic boy band battle.?? WOW - we have so much fun at GSL! #lukersforlife ??????
