Grace Lodge is a hospital hospitality house that will be located in The Woodlands, Texas, north of Downtown Houston. Grace Lodge will offer a free place to stay for individuals dealing with a serious medical condition that requires patients to be away from home for a short or long period of time while receiving treatments. Grace Lodge is supported 100% by the heart and generosity of the Community, our Partners, Sponsors, Donors and Charitable Donations. Houston Texas is known for its superior medical treatment and Premier Medical Doctors and Hospitals. The Woodlands is now home to 4 of the largest hospital branches. Grace Lodge will be strategically located in a serene location minutes from the hospital district. Dealing with a severe illness is hard enough but having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder. Every year, thousands of people from across the country and around the world come to the Texas Medical Center to receive life-saving treatment. When you combine mounting medical bills and interrupted employment with the expense of hotels, meals, and local transportation, it can become overwhelming. Sadly, many patients who could be treated successfully either put off treatment until it is too late, or forego treatment altogether because they can not afford long term lodging which is the reason Grace Lodge was started. We want to eliminate any stress and provide a relaxing atmosphere that is as close to home as we can get. We are here to take away as much of the burden we can so that they can focus on what is most important during their treatment. We at Grace Lodge truly believe that grace, faith, relaxation and a determination to fight can change everything.
