Abhishek Singh, PhD, PE, joined the GRA Board of Directors in 2022. “If you are passionate about California groundwater then GRA is the place to be. GRA has provided leadership and technical vision to the California Groundwater community for over three decades. I joined the GRA Board as I love California Groundwater and wanted to be part of GRA’s vision of ensuring Sustainable Groundwater for All” Abhishek is a Principal Engineer and President of the Water Resources and Supply Line of Business, at INTERA. He has more than 22 years of research and consulting experience in the areas of integrated water resources planning and management; design and construction of groundwater supplies and infrastructure; modeling of complex hydrogeologic systems; risk and uncertainty analyses; numerical optimization techniques; hydrogeologic data-collection; GIS and geodatabases; and data-mining and data analytics. Abhishek leads several projects in California with a particular focus on planning and implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), subsidence, recycled water recharge, and brackish groundwater.
