The Great Plains Center of Excellence (GPCoE) serves as one of the five key regional hubs for the Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) program of the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) of US Department of Energy, appropriated by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, more commonly known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The Great Plains Center of Excellence serves 13 states with the mission to Build a collaborative center where all can participate, contribute, and prosper The regions of the Great Plains Center of Excellence are strategically positioned to make an impact on the community in the following ways: * Support the expansion of existing assessment practices and development of new tools. * Coordinate efforts with national and regional stakeholders. * Support the development of materials and resources for the National Clearinghouse. * Coordinate regional outreach activities. * Mentor all the IAC directors, staff, and students regionally. * Develop and train on new methods of delivering IAC assessments. * Support student-focused activities. * Forge new relationships and articulation agreements. * Support regional and national inclusive clean-energy workforce development activities.

We were very excited to have the opportunity to host Great Plains Center of Excellence from Oklahoma State University! Our company President Ross Parmley invited this group of experts to collaborate and identify advanced steps toward advancing our sustainability efforts. The Center's Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) provides invaluable energy audits to manufacturers like us, helping to optimize operations and reduce our environmental impact. At RL Hudson, we are always seeking innovative ways to improve our practices and decrease costs for the benefit of our customers. This collaboration with ITAC aligns perfectly with our goals, and we are deeply grateful for this program and the wonderful people who came to help us. Their expertise is guiding us as we identify energy-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions that will contribute to regional economic development.
