The Future of Surgical Gowns - GowNext Since the late 1800s, sterile surgical gowns have been a cornerstone of operating room attire, primarily designed to prevent infection transmission. However, the traditional surgical gown has overlooked a critical aspect: ergonomics. VEGA TEK HUB R&D LAB proudly presents GowNext, a groundbreaking innovation set to revolutionize the surgical gown industry. Our patent-pending design is currently undergoing FDA clearance, with promising feedback in the pre-submission process. GowNext is engineered with the operator's comfort and functionality in mind, without compromising the conventional barrier between the operator and the patient. It addresses the ergonomic challenges often ignored in the operating room, such as prolonged awkward postures and asymmetrical arm positioning, which can lead to musculoskeletal strain and fatigue. Our vision is to enhance ergonomics and working conditions while reducing operational and individual risks for operators in sterile environments worldwide.
