A lot of great things happening at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College! Today Government Strategies Group participated in a legislative briefing at Cincinnati State with Ohio legislators. The briefing focused on the institution’s current and future needs, highlighting its aviation maintenance programs, automotive lab, and manufacturing wing. Cincinnati State is also celebrating its 55th anniversary year of being chartered by the State of Ohio. We are so fortunate to have this outstanding learning institution in our community.

Government Strategies Group participated in the legislative briefing at the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners today with state legislators, County Commissioners, and local leaders. The session fostered an insightful and productive discussion on a broad range of issues impacting our community and served as a valuable opportunity for strategic planning.

State Representative Mike Odioso and State Representative Karen Brownlee recently toured a LADD Inc. innovative, tech-enabled Smart Living home that supports adults with developmental disabilities to live independently. The Smart Living system has proven to increase independence for adults with developmental disabilities while utilizing a leaner, more effective staffing model. Government Strategies Group is proud to partner with LADD Inc. to raise awareness about the outstanding work they are doing in our community to support adults with developmental disabilities.

Congratulations Visit Cincy on another successful annual meeting where results of the new economic study were shared. The study found that the impact of tourism on our region is 6.5 billion dollars annually. Tourism officials shared more promising projects in the pipeline and introduced new board leadership, including Government Strategies Group's Doug Moormann. Doug will bring his expertise not only as the Mayor of Madeira, but as a seasoned economic development professional with a deep understanding of our region.
