Eco Wave Power has obtained final Army Corps of Engineers approval to install a unique hydropower system at the Port of Los Angeles. Energy News has the story. ? "The planned installation consists of eight hydropower floaters attached to the piles of an existing concrete pier on the AltaSea site, a maritime innovation hub. Including the conversion unit, the system will feature two 20-foot shipping containers placed on the pier to convert mechanical energy into electricity. The North Dakota Public Service Commission last week unanimously approved Summit Carbon Solutions’ route through the state for its carbon pipeline, which would span 2000+ miles through five states. Current and former National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) officials told an industry meeting this week that they expect the BEAD program buildout to continue under the new Trump administration, albeit with possible changes. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced this week that they have issued construction permits for Enbridge's Line 5 reroute around the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa’s reservation in northern Wisconsin. "Enbridge officials issued a statement praising the approval, calling it a “major step” toward construction that will keep reliable energy flowing to Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region." ? Enterprise Products Partners announced this week that it will develop a CO2 transportation network to support carbon capture from 1PointFive's hub in southeast Texas. Reuters has the story. ? "Earlier this year, 1PointFive entered into agreements with tech giant Microsoft and telecom company AT&T to sell carbon dioxide removal credits. ? "Carbon credits are tradable permits that allow the owner to emit certain amounts of greenhouse gases.
