Gourmet Konnect is a non-profit organization that delivers hot meals and groceries to the food insecure in Connecticut, bringing hope to every table. Today, countless families and individuals are impacted by the rise of food insecurity. Our vision here at Gourmet Konnect is to feed the hungry one delivery at a time. With the help of our app, designed to make our fresh meals and groceries just a tap away, our team is able to provide countless connections and resources to those in need. Our non-profit operates multifaceted in order to reach as many families and individuals as possible. The Gourmet Konnect app makes available a network of Community Kitchens & meals for the homeless, food pantries, and after-school programs for children. Not only this, but with our app our fleet of volunteers are able to reach many homebound seniors and individuals, bringing fresh, Gourmet Certified meals and groceries right to their doors. Each member of our team is committed to serving our community with a heart always innovating, uncompromising in our quality of service and compassion for those in need. At Gourmet Konnect, we seek to create a haven, both modern and innovative, family-friendly and impactful, uplifting our fellow community members in order to create a wave of lasting change. We aim to significantly reduce hunger in our communities and contribute to a more prosperous future for Connecticut, where no individual suffers from hunger. Food insecurity has plagued thousands of individuals and families, negatively impacting their physical and mental health. Our clients range from 0-100 years old. After learning how many people in Connecticut suffer from hunger due to a variety of reasons (job loss, natural disasters, and disablement– to name a few), we sought to create a sustainable solution, and are seeking more partners, volunteers, and interns with the same heart and ambition for uplifting our community.
