关于我们
The Gothic story begins in the humble setting of the Georgio Family garage located on “Gothic Avenue” in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Louis Georgio provided the inspiration by founding “Georgio & Sons Landscaping” in 1968 initiating the family passion for the landscape industry. Upon his passing, Judy Georgio founded Gothic in 1984. Her son Michael was instrumental in driving Gothic’s growth and unique culture. Gothic has remained family-owned and run by Jon and Ron Georgio alongside a highly talented leadership team. Our extended Gothic family continues to grow with over 1,800 dedicated landscape professionals servicing California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. We remain committed to our legacy values which include the success of our client-partners, our no excuses and no compromises approach, and our pledge to delivering extraordinary results.

Industrial landscaping has transformed dramatically over the years. What was once barebones concrete and minimal greenery has evolved into thoughtfully designed spaces with bioswales, stormwater management systems, and landscaped areas that enhance both functionality and aesthetics. One of our project in the Inland Empire, the Goodman Commerce Center in Eastvale, is a prime showcase a shift from a concrete jungle to a sustainable oasis, blending industrial efficiency with environmental stewardship. Let us help you transform your industrial facility into a space that maximizes both functionality and aesthetics! www.gothiclandscape.com

As urban farming continues to grow in popularity, rooftop gardens and farms are transforming underutilized spaces into sustainable, food-producing areas. These green rooftops not only enhance a property's sustainability profile but also provide fresh, local produce for tenants or communities. Many companies are turning their unused terraces to edible gardens for employees to enjoy. Learn more about urban rooftop farming and its potential to reshape cityscapes. https://lnkd.in/gVEzZxAU A farm on the roof in the city: https://lnkd.in/g6zjTnui

Green roofs, rain gardens, and permeable pavements are more than trends—they’re the future of urban design. By combining function with aesthetics, we're helping commercial properties manage stormwater, reduce heat islands, and create eco-friendly urban environments. Did you know? Cities that adopt green infrastructure see a 20% reduction in energy costs for surrounding buildings.

Ancient architects pioneered sustainability long before it became a trend, designing structures that harmonized with the environment and maximized resource efficiency. One striking example is the Roman Pantheon, a 2,000-year-old marvel. Its dome, made from lightweight volcanic pumice, reduces material use while the oculus provides natural light, cutting down on energy needs. Ancient builders mastered passive heating and cooling through thick walls and natural ventilation, water conservation through systems like Petra’s rainwater harvesting, and locally sourced materials—practices that align with today’s green building strategies. The wisdom of the past continues to inspire modern sustainable design. How do you think ancient design principles could be applied to today’s construction challenges?

Embrace the spooky charm of eerie plants and goth gardens this Halloween! Which is your favorite? Black Roses: While true black roses don't naturally occur, deep red and purple varieties deliver a similarly dramatic effect. Bat Plant (Tacca chantrieri): With bat-shaped flowers and dark foliage, this exotic plant brings an otherworldly vibe to your landscape. Dead Nettle (Lamium): A hardy ground cover with silver or variegated leaves and small purple flowers, it thrives in shade, creating an enchanting contrast. Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis): Named for its red sap, this native plant's striking white blooms in early spring add a haunting beauty to woodland gardens. Ghost Plant (Graptopetalum paraguayense): This pale, ghostly succulent thrives in various conditions, making it a captivating choice for a spooky-themed garden. Black Mondo Grass (Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'): With its dark foliage, this striking grass provides a touch of gothic elegance as a border or ground cover. Titan Arum (Amorphophallus titanum): Nicknamed the 'corpse flower,' it emits a foul odor of rotting flesh when in bloom, attracting pollinators that thrive on decay. #halloween #spookyplants
