The Gotham team had an amazing experience at the International Association of Speakers Bureaus 2024 Convention! Our own Samantha Conine led a valuable Campfire Session, "Working Better Together: Logistics," where event coordinators, operations leaders, and agents came together to tackle pain points, share wins, and discuss how we can strengthen trust with clients, speakers, and each other. Samantha also shared insights on the Industry Insights Forum panel, hosted by Mariana Atencio, focusing on the importance of trust and communication in our industry. One of her key points? The importance of what we at Gotham call the "no update update"—a quick touchpoint that says, "We're still working on it!" Simple gestures like these keep communication open, build trust, and let our clients, speakers, and partners know we’re on top of things.
