We believe that wellness, energy, supplements and good for you products should no longer be a sacrifice in taste, vibe or aesthetic. We are a brand with benefits creating beverages with benefits, and we are starting with ENERGY. What started out as a product for intense fitness performance is now evolving to become a go-to want and need for all day, everyday life - growing into a $40B industry. Energy drinks are now for Monday morning motivation, pre workout boosts, 3pm pick me ups, and Saturday night dance parties. ?????? It has women's wants and needs written all over it, yet there is not a single brand focused on building with a truly women-first lens. We want products that give us energy, yes, but with added benefits we love for health, wellness and mindfulness. We want products that are good for you and look good with you! We want communities and brands that speak to us visually and show up reliably, with digital moments and IRL experiences we care about. And we want a brand that is built by women for women, yet inclusive for the whole household! ??♀???♀???♀? GORGIE started community first. We crowdsourced every moment of this journey thus far, and we plan to do so every step of the way. We’re a brand built by followers and friends, driven by community. We're talking IG surveys, Tiktok competitions, and Geneva conversations for input on products, flavors, visuals, compelling names! Our community has chosen it all, and we’re just getting started… GORGIE is launching January of 2023 and already the community is building and bursting. We are inviting you to join this mission, this journey, and this brand that is about to change the world ??

    Building Indie CPG & studying consumer goods for clients since 2017 ??

    My favorite thing to spot at a tradeshow as a strategist & curator is new product lines that tell a harmonic brand progression story. These new products do one or more of the following: Leverage their hero ingredient - Oat Haus granola after the success of blended granola butter (it's almost impossible to find a nut-free granola in store, so excited for Ali Bonar) - Sunny Fine Foods dressings featuring their signature tahini - Cleveland Kitchen sauces feat. their fermented all-stars Multiple products that play well together - Loisa rice & beans after sazon & sofrito (plus a rebrand ??) - NIRAMAYA FOODS naan pretzels after dips Meeting customers where they are (& where they're going on-the-go) - GORGIE is soon launching glow sticks & powdered energy - Recess mood powders alongside cans - Magic Mind gummies alongside shots (& a new no caff option) - OoMee marine greens seabiotics alongside cans - TRIP magnesium gummies alongside cans Serve their customer at a different time of the day - Breakfast egg bites from The Pizza Cupcake - Plus the new LEXINGTON BAKES oat bars that I ate daily last week. Lex Evan? started with lux brownies, now bringing that energy to brekkie. Not pictured / coming soon in future posts: New product lines seen at Expo West (or recently-ish launched by exhibitors) around Soda, Protein, Noodles, and aging up/down to serve new customer age groups. Innovation comes in many shapes, sizes and colors. I'm in the camp of supporting the teams and agencies that spent 1-2 years bringing 100s of new products to market who gave it their all last week. We don't decide what's cool - their customers will influence what stays on shelf. So I'm gonna keep posting new products announced at Expo West that made me look twice in hopes that they inspire another creator to feature the brand this year, you to partner with that brand, invest in them, or put it on a shelf. p.s. If you need a strategist to partner with on your next product line, you know who to call.     what, like it's hard? last week, our founder and CEO, Michelle Cordeiro Grant, spoke as a guest lecturer for a program titled "Moving Beyond DTC" at Harvard Business School. she shared her story about scaling her first business, Lively, from a focus group to her sale to how she created her own 80-20 rule in the market. and, how she took those lessons from bras to beverage with us at GORGIE! special thanks to HBS and Matt Higgins for the invite! and to the students, who took their time listen and ask questions!
