Maryland’s Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS) are set to significantly impact the healthcare sector. With new emissions reduction targets and reporting requirements under the Climate Solutions Now Act, building owners, including hospitals, nursing homes, and labs, must act to comply by the September 1, 2025, deadline. Tenants may also face responsibilities like providing utility data and sharing in retrofit costs. Max Cooke shares his insight on what this means for healthcare providers: https://bit.ly/426nmZZ #BEPS #healthcareproviders

Our Associate Attorneys along with Michele Walsh and Searle Mitnick recently took their legal knowledge beyond the office and into the brewery. During their visit to Nepenthe Brewing, they gained firsthand insight into how legal work translates into real business operations. Seeing the brewing process up close gave them a better understanding of the intersection of law and industry, which helps our attorneys to provide better support to clients in this industry. Plus, it was a great opportunity to connect after work outside the office! And here's some exciting news: Nepenthe Brewing's beer will be available at Camden Yards this summer! Thanks to Nepenthe Brewing and Brian Arnold for hosting us.
