Today, Gordon Biersch Brewing Company is a brewing industry leader with 26 years of experience and counting. The microbrew trend continues to grow, and the company is actively expanding its distribution nationwide. Since 1998, Gordon Biersch Brewing Company has more than tripled its production, increasing its capacity to 5.4 cases of beer annually, making Gordon Biersch Brewing Company the largest brewery in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The man, the legend, Gordon Biersch! This story shows the true dedication behind our brewery: "A few highlights stand out during the last few decades of my brewing career. My wife, Melissa, and I took all of the money we were supposed to live off during my stint at Weihenstephan and used it to buy brewing machinery (which is still being used in the Palo Alto location). People thought we were crazy, but how about that for the ultimate wife! We had blown every cent on this brew kettle and lauter tun tower and were completely broke.
