At Goodyear, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the contributions of employees with disabilities. This October, we join the nation in observing National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a time to educate about disability employment and honor the varied talents of our workforce. Our ADAPT (Abled and Disabled Associates Partnering Together) ERG will be hosting events throughout the month at our Akron HQ to enhance awareness, advocacy and community. To power part of Goodyear Slovenija's manufacturing and office operations, a new solar power plant installation was completed this summer. The project is aligned with our commitment to reducing CO2 emissions and using 100% renewable electricity in all our global manufacturing operations by 2030. Our company in Kranj, Slovenija is now, in addition to using hydroelectricity, using its own solar electricity as well. The power of the solar plant is 775 kWp, and the yearly estimated output of renewable electricity is 788 MWh, which will all be consumed onsite. #GoodyearBetterFuture #SolarPower #RenewableEnergy #Gorenjskeelektrarne #Kranj #Slovenia
