At Goodwin Advisors we go where our valued clients need us, and this week it’s Seattle. Three packed days, touring buildings and meeting with local market experts to understand what is going on in the local office market. Yes there are challenges with homelessness and office vacancy. Yes we need the workers to come back to the office in a material way. But the new Mayor and City Council are doing wonders to bring the city back to life. With the exception of a few blocks, the city is the same vibrant safe pleasing city that has attracted top talent and tech firms for years. Seattle might be the best walkable major city in the country. Amazing water views. Great food. 70 degrees and sunny today. Rumors of its demise are greatly exaggerated.
