In 2023 we diverted 206,311 pounds of used computer equipment from the landfill to Dell Reconnect where products are given new life! Empowerment Works is hitting the road! Thanks to all the generous donations from North Texas Giving Day, we were able to support the purchase of a wheelchair accessible van for the program. The van provides the group with exciting opportunities for community and social engagement. Recently, the group enjoyed and ice cream outing and launched their volunteer program by teaming up with Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church packing food bags for community members facing food insecurities. The support and generosity of our donors means we can give the Empowerment Works program opportunities to engage with their peers and their community in a new and exciting way.
