Mission Moment Meet Austin: Austin came to Goodwill’s Pathway Home 4.0 (PH4) program through the Correctional Treatment Facility (CTF). Austin has had a long battle of substance abuse that has kept him progressing forward and upward in life. With mentorship provided by PH4 staff who has lived experience, Austin celebrated 1 year sober as of November 23, 2024, which has subsequently kept him out of trouble with the law. Austin has acquired a forklift certificate and aced an interview with a local manufacturing company (they hired him on the spot). His sobriety and providing a consistent presence in his daughter’s life is Austin’s primary focus; what he calls “my anchor.
