Today is America Recycles Day, and Matthew Kautzky, our Director of Facilities & Sustainability, is sharing four simple ways to turn earth-friendly choices into everyday habits: ?? Electronics to recycle. Wondering what to do with non-working electronics? Donate your computers, laptops, monitors, printers, cables, scanners, speakers, DVDs, gaming systems, cameras, and more to Goodwill! Through our partner programs, Goodwill will responsibly recycle for you! ?? Declutter and donate. Simplify your space by keeping what you need and donating the rest to our local donation centers. Your secondhand items will find new homes, all while staying out of landfills. ?? Thrift and gift. This year, consider giving thrifted treasures as gifts, and wrap them in reusable materials to reduce waste. ?? To scrap or to recycle. Goodwill’s vast sustainability program takes recycling to the next level and includes opportunities to recycle metals, plastics, wood, paper, and so much more.
