We aim to dismantle generational poverty by pairing critical goods with innovative services for underserved parents.
关于我们
Good+Foundation is committed to upending multi-generational poverty. We utilize an innovative approach to father engagement, we work to alter systems + policies to create long-lasting change, and we meet the everyday needs of mothers, fathers, and caregivers through donations of essential goods and financial grants. With an early focus on mothers and children, Good+ expanded programming in 2010 to strengthen support for non-custodial and formerly incarcerated fathers to address one of the root causes of cyclical poverty: father absence. Today, the organization partners with a national network of social service programs to pair goods – such as cribs, car seats and diapers – with mental health support, workforce development, co-parenting classes, preparation for the high school equivalency exam and more. By giving fathers tools, dignity and opportunities to re-engage with their families, mothers are getting more support, children are getting greater access to their fathers and men are learning how to become the dads they want to be. Good+Foundation has offices and warehouses in New York City and Los Angeles and strategically distributes more than $7 million worth of goods each year across the country. In 2020, 92 percent of expenses went directly back into Good+ programs. The organization has earned nine consecutive 4-star ratings on Charity Navigator – the highest rating possible – as well as a GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency and accreditation by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance for transparency, efficiency and operations.

In 2024, Good+Foundation donated $12.8 million worth of goods to our network of social service partner organizations. This remarkable achievement was made possible by our network of corporate and individual donors. These donations provided under-resourced families safety, comfort, and dignity, helping them move forward on a path towards stability and success. In 2025, you can help us surpass this milestone and reach even more families. Help us achieve this goal by visiting our website and donating at the link below. Together, we can continue making a profound difference in the lives of families we serve.

Today is International Women’s Day—a global celebration of the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women. In honor of this day and Women’s History Month, we asked the Good+ staff: “Who is a woman that has inspired you in your life and career?” Dr. Laurel Parker West, Interim CEO/Chief Program & Operations Officer, shares how Chef Julia Child’s spirit of fun and embrace of mistakes continues to influence her approach to mentoring and working with others: “She had such an incredible grace and humor that we all learned how to roll with the punches and keep moving forward, even when there are challenges.” This month, we’ll be sharing more women that have inspired the Good+ team! Join our celebration of International Women’s Day by tagging a woman who has inspired you. #InternationalWomensDay

We are incredibly grateful to Ross Stores, Inc. for stepping up in a time of crisis and for their generous donation of clothing and accessories, which has been a vital source of relief for families on their road to recovery. ?? ??
When wildfires swept across Southern California, our Associates were seeking ways to support those affected and leapt into action. From volunteering to sort and package food with Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, to preparing in-kind donations (clothing, cosmetics, bags, and toys) for Good+Foundation – we’re thankful to our teams for supporting Californians in their time of need.? Alongside these efforts, Ross donated $850,000 to organizations including the American Red Cross, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to aid in their support of those impacted by the wildfires. ???

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the incredible women who inspire us every day—at home, at work, and in our communities. Good+ is proud to be a woman-founded organization dedicated to strengthening families and breaking cycles of poverty. In 2001, Good+Foundation was founded by Jessica Seinfeld with a simple but powerful mission: to support moms, parents, and caregivers working toward a better future for their families. What began as an effort to donate her family’s outgrown baby items to parents in need has now grown into a national organization partnering with over 100 anti-poverty organizations across the country. Jessica’s vision continues to guide us as we work to strengthen families and build brighter futures.? #WomensHistoryMonth
