We were honored to partner with Wells Fargo to assemble 1,500 “Welcome Home” kits filled with essential home care products. It was inspiring to witness everyone come together to help families as they transition into new homes. These kits will provide immediate relief to those facing financial hardship, easing the burden of basic necessities. This week our disaster recovery team joined Caring For Others in Augusta to distribute essential supplies to over 200,000 people impacted by Hurricane Helene. The devastation left behind is hard to comprehend and our partners stepped in to help. Through the collaboration of local nonprofits in our network, first responders, and volunteers, we are able to deliver much-needed relief. Among the six truckloads of supplies, over 60% came from the donations and partnerships that Good360 facilitates, including tarps, water, hygiene kits, and even toys. “Toys may not seem like a necessity in disaster recovery, but for children who’ve lost everything, these little moments of joy mean the world,” said Peyton, one of our team members on the ground. Talking with survivors who have lost everything, we’re reminded of the importance of supporting communities so they can one day, return to a sense of normalcy. First responders, many of whom are still dealing with the aftermath themselves, are working tirelessly to ensure their neighbors have what they need to rebuild. We are so thankful and dedicated to remaining a part of the recovery efforts. Reflecting on days like these, we are reminded of the power of community and the responsibility of doing work that directly changes lives.

Recently, we had the opportunity to be part of Mary Nelson’s back-to-school event in Syracuse, where her community has come together for one purpose—its children. In a city with one of the highest rates of childhood poverty, Mary is ensuring kids have the educational supplies they need to succeed. We’re proud to have partnered with In Kind Direct and United Airlines for our first international kitting event, held during Hygiene Poverty Awareness Week in the UK. United Airlines staff and travelers passing through Heathrow Airport came together to assemble 2,500 hygiene kits filled with essentials like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, and more. These kits will be distributed to over 6,000 charitable organizations across the UK through In Kind Direct, ensuring that more communities have access to the products they need to maintain their well-being. It was a privilege to welcome staff from the Offices of Senator Kaine, Congresswoman Wexton, and Congressman Connolly at our recent kitting event with United Airlines. Their support and hands-on participation in assembling hygiene kits are a testament to the power of community engagement. With the kits assembled, we are now able to provide vital hygiene supplies to those in need, thanks to our incredible nonprofit partners.
