This morning, Good Sam made history! After almost 33 years (12,011 days) of service to this community, we fulfilled our dream of admitting our first patient to the Sheila S. Strauss Hospice House. Our phenomenal team gathered early today to bless this facility and share in its magnitude. As the only nonprofit community based hospice serving this region, it is our highest honor to be allowed on this journey with our patients and their families. Thanks to each of you for your support of our mission- and for making this dream a reality. This facility will truly impact lives across Southwest Virginia! #wearegoodsam
