We had an amazing time at Fast Forward Alumni Retreat! We had the privilege of connecting with other tech non-profit leaders, engaging in thought-provoking panels, and enhancing our skills through various training sessions. In 2024, Good Call NYC didn’t just show up. They showed out. What started as a hotline to connect New Yorkers with legal support has grown into a lifeline for communities navigating a broken system. Some stats from their 2024 impact report: ?????? 300+ families empowered through Know Your Rights workshops, gaining the tools to safeguard their rights and uphold their dignity during police encounters ?? Thousands of calls answered via a 24/7 hotline (because justice doesn’t keep office hours) ?? More than 50 workshops hosted in areas of financial literacy, work readiness, civic engagement, and social justice Good Call is rewriting what’s possible in neighborhoods too often overlooked, putting those directly impacted by the justice system at the center of the fight for change. 2025?
