With 141 new members and membership upgrades, we are excited for the growth, collaboration, and positive changes that this will bring to our community. This success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the amazing business leaders who volunteered their time. From the planning stages to the final event, your dedication to the Natchitoches community and enthusiasm throughout the event helped us create an unforgettable experience. We would also like to thank our event sponsors Alliance Compressors, Northwestern State University, Raising Cane's #057 (409 Keyser Ave., Natchitoches, LA), Walmart Natchitoches, Eagle Distributing of Shreveport, Natchitoches Picnic Company and SweetD's Kitchen for their support. This month, our Leadership Natchitoches cohort participated in an impactful Healthcare & Public Safety session. They kicked things off with a visit to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC), where we had the privilege of hearing from CEO Kirk Soileau and his leadership team. They shared how NRMC is living out its mission of “Striving for Excellence” every day, and how their leadership continues to move the needle forward in providing top-tier care. One key takeaway for our cohort was how well the senior leadership team collaborates, holds each other accountable, and constantly strives for improvement, making tremendous strides in patient care. The cohort also toured NRMC’s Cancer Center and Wound Care Center before participating in a panel discussion with NRMC leaders. They touched on key topics like departmental communication, goals, current challenges, and what’s working well to ensure seamless healthcare delivery. The day wrapped up at the Natchitoches Parish 9-1-1 Center, where the group met with the director, dispatch officers, Homeland Security, and representatives from the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office (NPSO). The NPSO shared details about their new app, now available in app stores. This app allows you to submit tips, check inmate information, request extra patrols, and more. Next month marks graduation for this year’s cohort. If you’re interested in being part of the next Leadership Natchitoches program, applications open October 1st. #ChampionBusiness #ConnectCommunity #CultivateGrowth #LeadershipNatchitoches #Cohort5

Cohort 5 of our Leadership Natchitoches initiative had the privilege of delivering a special care package to our 9-1-1 dispatchers as a token of our appreciation. We are deeply grateful to all public safety professionals who risk their lives every day to protect and serve our parish and community. Today, we want to give a special shout-out to the dispatchers who take our calls and work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure first responders arrive when they are needed most. #ChampionBusiness #ConnectCommunity #CultivateGrowth #LeadershipNatchitoches #Cohort5
