A week in the #mobilitymom life. Kicked off Monday with the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association in Philly. I had the opportunity to talk about CargoB and how shared cargo bikes are going to be a game changer in American cities. Ran into Marah H. and enjoyed a great tour with Waffiyyah Murray and team! Neil Paterson , you’re always welcome in the front bucket. Made sure to also bring the gravel bike and Tuesday took an early morning ride out to Conshi to see all the overlapping commuting and recreational mobility networks up the Schuylkill River. I enjoyed the requisite trail side pastry and coffee, while listening to that SEPTA regional rail horn blow. True story, one summer in college I worked at the Philly zoo and would take the R3 from Media to the beautiful 30th street station and ride my bike up through Mantua! I also had to make sure I popped in to say hello to local bike shops, Trek Bicycle Manayunk, Fairmount Cycles and Velo Jawn. Visit these shops, these are the folks who are supporting bike culture and everyone was helpful, passionate about improving mobility and excited to see opportunities for using bicycles in ways that improve cities! Before packing up and rolling out on Wednesday evening had dinner with my Auntie, a lover of cities and who was game to ride to the restaurant in ultimate style! And since I had CargoB business waiting at home, put our kids to bed on Thursday night and then installed our 4th parking location with Seth Davis. This is the second Jamaica Plain location. I tried to do my best, Chiefettes pose Megan Ramey ! And finally Friday, it’s #bikebus and these kids wait all week so had to deliver those party music vibes. I look at those kids on Friday morning and it’s with them in mind, I do all I can the rest of the week to make sure I’m contributing towards making our cities greener, cleaner, safer and more connected and welcoming places to live!

One Shared Micromobility Conference, Zero Cheesesteaks ? Last week I made the trip to NABSA in Philadelphia (not Indianapolis)! It was fantastic to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and share the insights into Urban Sharing's capabilities including how to upgrade your software but keep your bikeshare hardware ??, field operations optimization tools ?? , and transit integration (API) capabilities ?? with the North American Market ???? ???? ???? Here are my top three takeaways: Synergy across the Atlantic is (severely) Lacking ?? There’s a real need for more collaboration between the U.S. and Europe ?? & ?? share networks. While Europe views bikeshare as public transport, securing significant funding, the U.S. has made impressive strides in improving diversity, equity, and inclusion across shared micromobility systems. There's so much potential for learning from each other ???? North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association ? Cycling Industries Europe time to talk ?? 3D Printing is a Game-Changer ?? Whether it's resolving supply chain issues or addressing hardware inefficiencies with small, printable innovations, 3D printing could be the answer many have been searching for. Over 30% of attendees came from just two players - Bicycle Transit Systems (including BCycle) and Lyft/PBSC Urban Solutions. With tenders looming in Boston and the Bay Area, I’m curious to see if new players will emerge to shake up the market. Big thanks to everyone who made this trip so insightful. I remember attending my first North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association conference back in 2016. Being new to the bikeshare space and able to connect and learn from others doing this work around the world had a profound impact on my career. Now I have the honor of serving as Vice President on NABSA’s BOD, Chair of NABSA’s DEIB committee, and host of the 2024 NABSA conference in my hometown PHILADELPHIA!!!! I hope that others especially those attending the NABSA conference for the first time this year feel that same sense of BELONGING I felt back in 2018 and still to this day! I look forward to seeing you all next year!! #NABSA2024

So grateful to have met an incredible group of people at the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association 2024 Conference who are just as passionate about equity within cycling as I am! What a joy it was to present on creating successful bike share programs for youth – a topic and program that is so dear to me.

The NABSA annual conference in Philly was the best! So much learning, sharing, celebrating, caring and fun! This week I had the opportunity to go to the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association’s annual conference in Philadelphia, which was a wonderful learning opportunity. I was able to attend multiple panels about the great work people are doing to build, maintain, and enhance bikeshare systems throughout Mexico, the United States, and Canada. I also had the opportunity to sit on two panels - one to talk about Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC)’s role in sustaining our regional system across 13 municipalities, and one to share how we’re tapping into federal funding opportunities to electrify our system. As this industry continues to evolve and rapidly change, knowledge sharing amongst professionals in the bikeshare space is so critical. Thank you NABSA for helping us do this! #NABSA2024
