    In this week's edition of "Trailblazers and Changemakers: Remarkable Women And Allies Making A Difference," we turn the spotlight on Dr. Crystal Camejo, DHA, MBA, MHFA, President and Chief Vision Officer of Future Focus Empowerment International. Met the visionary recently during a Global Women Impact Alliance (GWIA) organized event. Dr. Camejo, who hails from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is Head of People Operations at Ritel Incorporated. With a diverse academic background, Dr. Camejo took a nontraditional route to success. Her career began in healthcare, where she earned degrees in Criminal Justice/Law and an MBA with a focus on Finance and Human Resources from Monroe. Her passion for understanding the human psyche led her to pursue a master’s degree in forensic psychology, culminating in her recent achievement: a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration and Strategic Leadership from Virginia University of Lynchburg in December 2023. Dr. Camejo’s multifaceted expertise is not only rooted in her academic achievements but also in her commitment to creating pathways for others. As the President and Chief Vision Officer of Future Focus Empowerment International, she works tirelessly to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving workforce. Her organization focuses on innovative training and development programs that empower individuals and foster sustainable growth within communities. In addition to her leadership role at Future Focus, Dr. Camejo serves as the Director of Communications and Public Relations for GWIA. In this capacity, she amplifies the voices of women and advocates for their representation in various sectors, aiming to dismantle barriers and promote equality. Dr. Camejo’s approach is deeply rooted in her personal experiences and cultural background.
