When it comes to solving healthcare’s toughest challenges, the question is not “What do we do?” but “How do we make it happen?” ? That was the message conveyed Tuesday evening at Health Care Council Chicago’s end-of-year LIVE podcast?discussion featuring David Johnson CEO at 4Sight Health and author of?The Coming Healthcare Revolution?and guest moderator?David Smith Founder and CEO of Third Horizon & Co-founder, HC3. Johnson believes that U.S. health care will transform more in the next decade than it has over the past century, and, importantly, the change will have to happen from the outside. ? As part of the “outside,” we believe we can play a valuable role in this transformation by reinforcing the importance of equitable care, driving awareness for why more resources should be shifted to preventive treatment, chronic conditions, and behavioral health, and taking a strong stance for repairing our social fabric so we can get healthier together. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us David, and we enjoyed meeting you at your book signing! ? We’re proud to be a member of Health Care Council Chicago, an action-oriented collaborative that brings leaders from across the health care ecosystem?together to?address?our city’s most important health-related?challenges. We were energized by last night’s event, which featured?a panel discussion highlighting emerging?health care trends and providing valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that have shaped the health care landscape in Chicago and beyond throughout 2024.?A special thank you to?Meghan Phillipp, MBA (she/her), Executive Director HC3 for planning and organizing.?We look forward to attending more HC3 events in the future!
