This past weekend, Olympian and Goldfish Swim School brand ambassador Cullen Jones was on deck to help Goldfish Swim School - Wexford celebrate its 10-Year Anniversary. ?? It's hard to imagine that an Olympic swimmer nearly drowned as a child, but that's exactly the case with Cullen. That fateful early childhood moment became a pivotal part in Cullen's story and led him to become the passionate water safety advocate that he is today. “I am an Olympian. I’ve been in the Olympics twice, and I nearly drowned at the age of five, so I can speak to how important it is that we can have kids in the water and give them a positive experience for their first time around water,” Jones said. The Wexford Team celebrated in true Goldfish style by making a big deal about its special 10-Year milestone and by going above and beyond to give back to their community. The Wexford location gave 10 area kids over $18,000 in free swim lessons to help even more children learn how to be safer in and around the water, and hopefully, foster a love of it too. ?? https://lnkd.in/gYkhnCRF?

Goldfish Swim School was founded in 2005 by husband and wife team Chris and Jenny McCuiston. Chris and Jenny took a concept that they formulated with nearly two years of research, and cultivated a business that provides results in the learn-to-swim environment that you simply can’t find anywhere else. Their proprietary curriculum and systems were developed after traveling the country in search of the “best practices” to teach babies and young children how to swim. The first school, in Birmingham, Michigan, opened in 2006, and quickly saw success. Opening its doors with over 500 students at inception, Goldfish currently teaches more than 70,000 students per month across the franchise system. At the beginning of 2008, it made sense to begin the franchising process. Join Our Team ?? Our Curriculum Team at the franchise office in Troy, MI is growing and looking to hire two new Curriculum Consultants! The Curriculum Consultant will work with new and existing franchisees to help prepare instructors for opening through in-water training. At school openings, the Consultant will observe, assist where necessary, and share lesson quality best practices. The Curriculum Consultant will also research, develop, and deliver curriculum training pieces that help with lesson quality, lesson quality analysis, and customer communication. The ideal candidate has a swimming background and/or Goldfish Swim School experience, as well as a passion for water safety. Please note that this position requires travel. ??
