Virtual production isn’t just for creating expansive, immersive worlds. It’s just as powerful for achieving a clean, polished, and intentional look. This was one of those times. For this shoot with Oak Street Health, we could have used a traditional cyc wall, but when you have access to a space like ours, why not take it to the next level? Our #LEDvolume created a seamless, infinity clean sweep— a sleek, boundless white environment that kept the focus exactly where it should be: on the talent. The result? A crisp, elevated look and an unforgettable experience. #virtualproduction

Our friends at Tibbs Inc. knocked it out of the park with this campaign they filmed in our studio for?healthcare.gov. Our GH team built six custom environments in #UnrealEngine, each uniquely designed and overlayed with a monochromatic color filter. Tibbs paired these vibrant virtual environments with carefully chosen practical elements and live actors, resulting in a visually stunning and truly unique treatment. This project highlights the power of blending cutting-edge #virtualproduction with real-world filmmaking techniques, while also exploring new, unconventional approaches to storytelling.

The?Grand Rapids Gold?basketball and dance team brought the energy to Golden Hour Studio for their?#MediaDay! ?? From the LED Volume to the B Stage Cyc Wall, Glow Court, Lunch Room, and even the Shipping Container Hub, every corner of the studio was in action. Their media team captured some fresh content, and we can’t wait for you to see the results on the big screen at their upcoming games! We loved being part of the creative process and helping wherever needed. Golden Hour is the perfect space for bold ideas—just ask the Gold! ??

It’s maintenance week at the studio and we’re getting into the details—literally. Every pixel counts, so spent the past few days making sure our 54’ LED volume is in perfect shape. To replace even a single pixel, we use a suction tool to carefully remove one of the smaller panels within the larger display. From there, it’s all about precision as we solder new pixels into place. #ledvolume #virtualproduction #virtualproductionstudio

Finished project from when Ferris State University students visited our studio for an immersive virtual production workshop. Our team prepared a production to give students a full experience on a professional set. Students were able to get real hands-on experience handling and operating our Arri LF, pulling focus, adding finishing touches to set design, and seeing up close the relationship between #UnrealEngine and #VirtualProduction.
