We joined members from Conifer & Evergreen Chambers last week for an evening of speed networking -- dozens of new connections and opportunities made. Thank you to the Evergreen Chamber for organizing this evening of collaboration!

Congratulations to Marie Drake and The Drake Law Firm, P.C. for opening their spectacular second location with views of the foothills. Their ribbon cutting was a festive time with a lot of friends and colleagues wishing them well. Also congrats to the firm for a big honor: out of the 500 fastest growing law firms in the country, they’re ranked number 32! Onwards and upwards for these amazing Chamber members!

The awardee contributes to and enhances our business environment through consistent and sustained efforts to improve opportunities for the diverse communities we serve. ? Budding Business of the Year Award This is awarded to a business who has been in operation 5 years or less. The Budding Business of the Year award recognizes the difficulties that come with starting a business and is awarded to a relatively new business that has demonstrated the creativity, energy, perseverance, and talent needed to sustain a successful business and has provided a positive impact on the local community. ? Business of the Year Award? This award is presented to a business that has thrived, enhanced the lives of its employees, and shown exceptional support to the economic vitality of the Golden Community.

Jodi is joining us as our Farmers Market Manager and Events Specialist after several years of working with us seasonally as a Farmers Market Assistant. Here is a little about Jodi: "I am excited to be part of a diverse team that has an impact on Golden. Being a native to Colorado, it is an honor to work in a city that I have fond?memories of from?childhood through adulthood. I have attended many events?within the community over the years. I am excited to be on the planning side of these events so I can keep events fun and create lifelong?memories?for others.? The collaborative businesses?here in Golden are inspiring?and encourage?me to stay engaged and push myself to keep growing as a?person and along with the team.?I'm motivated to build strong relationships, knowing I truly make a difference in the community."
