Atlas has released their annual Migrations Patterns Study results...This study tracks customers' interstate, interprovince, and international moves with data points measured from November 1, 2023, through October 31, 2024, and gauges where people are moving from and to. Additionally, Atlas conducted a survey of customers who recently relocated to gain insight into the motivations behind their moves. The survey of 1,135 people in August 2024 revealed three distinct reasons consumers moved: for work, to be closer to friends and family, and for affordability. The Top Inbound States included Arkansas, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Washington, D.C., Idaho, Tennessee, Maine, Connecticut, Washington, and Alaska. The Top Outbound States included Louisiana, California, Illinois, South Dakota and New York.

We are heading into the weekend on a very high note. Golden Van Lines is honored to be a 2024 recipient of the Atlas Milton M. Hill Quality Award, Hauling Excellence Award, and Sales Achievement Award. The Milton M. Hill Quality Award represents the highest level of achievement in the Atlas system. It is the ultimate mark of distinction for Atlas movers. To receive this award an agent must also earn the Hauling Excellence Award and have outstanding performance rankings in customer satisfaction, estimating, claims, safety and warehouse operations. The Atlas Hauling Excellence Award recognizes movers who handle a significant amount of household goods volume, maintain excellence in their operations, and receive at least a 90% favorable response when customers are asked if they would again choose the mover’s services. Finally, the Atlas Sales Achievement Award is presented to those Atlas Movers who have sales in excess of $1,000,000. We can proudly say that we are ranked among the Best of the Best, thanks to the tireless and consistent efforts from our amazing staff.
