On Jan 22, the Golden Valley Fire Department (GVFD) hosted its annual Promotion Ceremony, celebrating the dedication and achievements of its team. ● Nine new Probationary Firefighters were sworn in.?? ● Three Probationary Firefighters were promoted to Apprentice Firefighter and received their badges.? ● Two Apprentice Firefighters were promoted to Firefighter.? ● Two Firefighters were promoted to Lieutenant.? ● Two Lieutenants were promoted to Captain.? ● An Assistant Chief was sworn in and received her badge.
