The Golden Civic Foundation is beginning the search for a new Executive Director. After 17 months of dedicated leadership, Kim Mangle, MPA, CFRE?has stepped down to focus on her health following treatment for a brain aneurysm. Kim shared: "It is with a very heavy heart that I am announcing my resignation from the Golden Civic Foundation. As many of you know, I went on medical leave in late November to seek treatment for a brain aneurysm. My initial surgery was not successful, so I am continuing to seek treatment, and it is imperative for me to focus on my health, my recovery, and my family at this difficult time. It has been the highest honor of my career to work alongside all of you for the betterment of the Golden community. I am proud that we have achieved some very important milestones together, including launching The Golden Legacy Fund and the Au Tech Fund, piloting our Together for the Good of Golden campaign, initiating our new Mountain Mardi Gras fundraiser, and supporting so many vital organizations, businesses, and partners in Golden." ? We are incredibly grateful to Kim for her service and leadership, and we wish her strength in her recovery. Erin McLain?is serving as Interim Executive Director while the Board conducts a search for our next leader. Please share with your networks and help us find the next leader to continue GCF’s mission, For the Good of Golden.
