Celebrating National Leadership Day! On this National Leadership Day, we want to recognize Steve Sahlender, who has recently been promoted from Vice President to Executive Vice President of Goldbelt’s Alaska Operations. Steve is a Goldbelt shareholder, a director on the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska, and a 20-year military veteran who served in the Air Force. Steve's leadership is deeply rooted in the Tlingit values of thoughtfulness and respect. “We talk about those a lot at Goldbelt; they are posted all over the buildings," Steve said.
