Part of the KTECH difference is the holistic approach to learning. Our Promise Partners support certification training by helping us meet students' needs, addressing barriers such as hunger, transportation, and mental wellness. If you want to see where your donation makes a difference, look no further than KTECH. You can learn more about being a Promise Partner at https://lnkd.in/ePxTNK-Z

Our KTECH VR Academy does more than teach students the tools of working and developing for virtual reality. It also teaches them teamwork and how to work together as a team to deliver a working product on a schedule. And we are beyond excited about the concept they pitched last week: A Pac-Man horror game! Imagine being sucked into a Pac-Man game where you are the one Pac-Man wants to gobble up. ?? They gave a presentation to the KTECH team and some guests: Allison Turner from James Clemens High School's Engineering Academy and Harleigh Bass from Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation. It's a great idea, and they were able to answer every question the panel threw at them. This week they hit the ground running and get to work modeling, lighting, and programming their project!

Take a look at these final projects from our Robotics students! Part of our students' certification and operations course is programming a routine for the robots in our lab to execute. They program their robots to execute a simple task, and then they usually add a little something creative for fun! All of our students are now certified in basic operation and programming robotics.

Three of our KTECH graduates are moving up in the world less than a month after graduation! Jackson and Daniel have started jobs as Maintenance Technicians at Runergy Alabama Inc, a solar manufacturer in Huntsville. Abigail starts a new position as an Imaging Service Technician next week at Huntsville Hospital. We're proud of the hard work they put in, and they deserve it!

This is the difference KTECH makes in people's lives. Four students who spent 16 weeks getting ready for new career paths that have made them financially stable and ultimately, much happier. We're grateful that our community has great businesses like Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc., Element Materials Technology and Huntsville Hospital who see the potential of our students and give them the opportunities they want and deserve!
