Congratulations to former UVA football player Mike Hollins, a recipient of the 2025 NCAA Inspiration Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate perseverance, dedication, and determination to overcome a life-altering situation and become role models, giving hope and inspiration to others. Can’t think of a better way to describe Mike.

Had a fantastic time hosting UVA student-athletes at Blue Owl HQ in New York City as part of their “Career Trek”. ? It was a great to spend time with these talented individuals,?helping to introduce them to the world of financial services and providing an inside look at our firm. Several of our Credit team members who are former student athletes joined to share insights on their career path and their best advice to the students who are just beginning this journey. ? A big thank you to the University of Virginia team and the Virginia Athletics Foundation for organizing this event. We look forward to continuing our support for UVA student-athletes and their future endeavors. #GoHoos

Last week I had the distinct pleasure of hosting a group of UVA student-athletes at the Genius Sports offices as part of the NYC Career Trek put on by UVA Student-Athlete Success. For an "old" guy like me who has been out of school for awhile, it feels great to stay connected to the athletic department and help these young men and women make the transition from college to adult life. They're a bright and industrious group, no doubt they'll go far. Go Hoos!

The UVA experience is like no other. UVA Football hosted a career fair for its players over the last couple of days. Fifty-two football alums were in attendance and companies were there to interview the upperclassmen for job opportunities. The underclassmen got an opportunity to network and establish connections. Additionally, Marc Yavinsky put together an alumni panel for the underclassmen, where we could pour into them about our professional and life experiences. We talked of why our brotherhood is so very important and expressed our willingness to help them succeed. They asked great questions and it was a powerful experience. These are the type of experiences that your sons get when they play football at UVA. I felt blessed to be a part of this esteemed panel of UVA Legends! #CHASINGGREATNESS #IAMUNDERDOG #WAHOOWA
