?? Congratulations to our GoBeyond winners this month, Jason Thomas, Lead Radiologic Technologist with Northwell Health-Go Health and Will Jones, IT Field Technician. On his night off, arriving at the airport from vacation, Jason Thomas didn’t think twice about going right to the center to shoot an x-ray for a patient who was suffering from a week-long cough and fever. The patient was diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia and because of Jason’s dedication and kindness, started antibiotics and experienced a quick road to recovery. Thank you, Jason, for your professionalism and dedication to patient care. Will Jones exemplifies the very definition of going above and beyond. Frequently at the forefront of solving IT issues, he is always willing to jump in and help, working hard to get computer systems up and running without hesitation. We're thrilled to share that Northwell Health-GoHealth pediatric centers in New York (Lake Success, Hewlett, East Northport) have been officially recognized with the Autism Speaks Autism Friendly Designation! ???? ?? Our center teams saw firsthand how difficult seeking care can be for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families, so they tackled the challenge head on. Partnering with organizations like Autism Speaks and Cohen Children's Medical Center's Bee Mindful program, Northwell Health-GoHealth is leading the way in making urgent care less scary and more comfortable for all patients. By embracing practices that cater to the unique needs of the autism community, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels understood and valued.?? Their recent actions truly embody professionalism and an unwavering commitment to the community. When alerted about an unconscious individual in the parking lot, this team didn’t hesitate. They immediately called 911 and rushed to the scene, equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED), ready to provide CPR if needed. Thanks to their swift response and the assistance of bystanders, the individual received prompt medical attention.?
