Examining our secondary school curriculum reveals the subjects a student must take from senior one to senior two before choosing between #Arts or #Sciences in senior three. The purpose is for students to select subjects that fit future university courses and their intended careers. However, many students lack awareness of the various career options their specific subject choices might open up. Today, we address a secondary school student's question about which #subjects are relevant to qualify for a #computerscience course. #IWD2025 #accelerateaction #womenintech #womeninstem #womenhistorymonth ##SouthSudan Video Credit: Kenyi Moses

Women are significantly underrepresented in #STEM fields globally. According to Tech Cabal, only 30% of technology roles in Africa are occupied by women, with a troubling 14% in #softwareengineering and 25% in #computerscience jobs. To honor Women’s Month, we focus on the theme "Accelerate Action,” emphasizing the urgent necessity for rapid and practical steps toward achieving gender equality. Our second inquiry comes from a student in the #computerscience course who seeks advice on how to excel. First, remember that no subject is inherently difficult; success relies on dedication, just as in #computerscience. This short video provides helpful tips for succeeding in the course. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #womenintech #womeninstem P.S. We are still open to questions from you all. Video Credit: Kenyi Moses

Celebrating Women’s Month with the theme "Accelerate Action” underscores the urgent need for swift and decisive actions to achieve gender equality. A significant obstacle preventing girls from pursuing technology-related courses, often leading to dropouts, is the Information about career choices, not course information. In response to this challenge, we will address Hannah Raphael's inquiry regarding the importance of #computerscience this week. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #womenintech #womeninstem #STEMCareers #SouthSudan P.S. We are still expecting more questions from you all. Video Credit: Kenyi Moses
