Vision and hearing screenings are essential for early identification of conditions that can impact a child’s development. Approximately 6.8% of children in the U.S. have diagnosed vision issues, with an estimated 5-10% remaining undiagnosed. Around 15% of children aged 6 to 19 experience hearing loss. Regular screenings can prevent up to 60% of hearing loss and up to 80% of vision loss, enabling children to thrive in their learning and social environments. Innovative technologies now allow healthcare providers to conduct both vision and hearing screenings in one seamless process, promoting early detection and intervention.
